Product circularity

We design our machines with the environmental effects of their entire life cycle in mind.

It’s a challenging path, which implies the constant search for new solutions to implement sustainable innovation that changes the value chain and product use, so as to create a virtuous circle from cradle to cradle.

The choices made at the design stage can reduce the negative impact on the ecosystem caused by the materials used, production processes, machine use and disposal.

We strive to ensure that our machines perform at their best for as long as possible.

We especially focus on how to simplify maintenance, repair, part replacement, recycling, and material recovery.

The way the machines are conceived changes the dynamics of cleaning, fostering the value of sustainability at every stage of use, leading to efficient management of all procedures.

The technologies we develop, together with the services we offer for their application, fulfil a working method geared towards continuous improvement in performance and efficiency.

The results achieved are measurable and establish a solid basis on which to build an effective strategy for accomplishing increasingly ambitious goals.

By applying the LCA - Life Cycle Assessment system, we have succeded in attaining the CFP - Product Carbon Footprint Systematic Approach certificate, according to ISO 14067, for our scrubber dryers. The figure we report on the CO2e emitted by the single scrubber dryer per working hour is thus certified and is therefore a reliable starting point for setting up activities to reduce or offset it.

It is an achievement made possible by a responsible and circular design style, which aims to increase the environmental compatibility of products, striking a balance between growth and sustainability.

RECYCLABILITY

When we design our products, we always think about the impact they can have on the environment and we never stop asking ourselves how we can improve.

RECYCLED PLASTICS

Fimap has launched a project to recover waste plastic and reuse it, transforming it from waste to resource. Initiative which has been rewarded with the ReMade in Italy certification, which recognizes the value of the product within a circular economy model.
