Safe Air Technology
To ensure a healthy environment, alongside the cleaning of surfaces, it is also important to consider air quality. Fimap has developed a multi-stage filtration technology for its sweepers that cleans the suctioned air before it is returned into the environment.Safe Air technology combines several filters, depending on the machine model, which together make up higher and higher filtration levels to retain smaller and smaller particles.
The suctioned air passes through the installed filters that capture from visible dirt such as dust, to invisible particle and microorganisms such as bacteria, allergens, moulds and pollen, which are harmful to health.
The final filtration stage of the Safe Air technology is a Hepa filter, which captures microparticles down to 0,3 µm with a filtration efficiency of 99,9%.
Its action limits the dangerous effects of exposure to pollutants that gather in enclosed spaces.
A sweeping machine equipped with Safe Air technology improves air quality and safeguards the health of the operator and other people in the environment being cleaned.
PANEL OR POCKET FILTERS
Fimap sweeping machines are available with polyester or paper panel filters for standard applications, or a fabric pocket filter can be requested for excellent filtering results even in places with high levels of fine dust.
POCKET FILTER IN Tetratex®
Even higher filtering performance can be obtained with the Tetratex® pocket filter. This is made with a microporous expanded PTFE membrane, a highly efficient material that is ideal for particularly difficult applications, such as in areas where minerals, chemical products, pharmaceutical substances and fertilisers are processed, as well as in the food industry.
The Tetratex® membrane has an excellent release capacity, thanks to its surface filtration technology: even the most adherent dust, once it reaches the surface, falls down and leaves the filter free, preventing any risk of clogging.
With the microporous structure of the Tetratex® membrane, emission levels are close to zero. Particulate matter remains trapped on the filtering surface, thus reducing environmental emissions.
