Fimap innovations at the Dealer Meeting: an innovative strategy and a revolutionary product range
The modern Fimap plant was transformed for the occasion into a real “catwalk” that hosted the new machines and the already successful models of the Verona company. the person orchestrating and directing the presentation, in the unusual guise of director, was Managing Director Massimiliano Ruffo.
The models in the limelight for the occasion of the meeting were the latest scrubbing machines, including the innovative Genie E (the electric version of Genie B) and the compact, handy MMx, Mx and SMx (ideal for all cleaning and maintenance work on surfaces greater than 1,000 sq.m.).
In the morning there was an intense work session in the classroom, followed by the spectacular presentation of the latest product innovations, offering the guests the chance not only to see the machines, but also to get hands-on experience, under the supervision and support of the Fimap technical staff who were available to answer all questions. The meeting drew to a close with a good lunch, during which the guests - in a climate of familiarity and real friendship - chatted away, confirming once again the strong tie with the company.
During the classroom work session, Massimiliano Ruffo - showing himself to be an exceptional lecturer - presented in his own unique and stimulating way that common thread that has always distinguished the values and philosophy of not only the company, but the entire Ruffo Group of which it is an active part. In the context of the cleaning culture, Fimap has officially entered a new phase, whose foundations were laid way back in 2003 when the Ruffo family took over the whole Group, investing in a long-term project: to give continuity and create value in terms of ethics, coherency and sustainable development (the combination of profitability and environmental compatibility).
“This meeting was chosen as the right moment for actively involving our partners in the responsibility that Fimap, first of all, has decided to adopt over the years via its fundamental business decisions,” - affirms Massimiliano Ruffo, Fimap Managing Director - “and within a policy of eco-sustainable development, with its values centred on the minimisation of the environmental impact of the entire product life cycle, from the design phase to the production process, from transportation to use, and right up to its disposal and recycling.”
The key message of the meeting was to convey to the distributors the extent to which sustainability revolutionises the processes and the way of working, becoming an ever greater advantage for sales thanks to the ongoing innovation and the increase in the intrinsic value of the product it represents.
“I feel that this meeting has allowed us to perfectly reconcile work with fun“ concludes Massimiliano Ruffo. “We were able, in fact, to compare ideas with our partners with regard to the most important topics for our business, conveying that way of working within a context of total respect for nature that has permitted us to become a state-of-the-art company. It was also an opportunity for listening, acquiring knowledge and exchanging important experiences, in confirmation of the value that the distributor holds in a firm like ours”.
