Certifications

It's recognised that the most successful companies are those where quality invades every aspect of the business: from the very way of working, to customer assistance and the final products.

"Every aspect" means a process certified by specially-approved bodies that help companies to improve and to keep their production and control standards high, thanks to regular monitoring.

Via the Q.C.B. - Quality Certification Bureau (a SINCERT qualified and accredited certification body) - Fimap has obtained internationally recognised certifications in accordance with the standards ISO 9000 (quality), ISO 14000 (environment), OHSAS 18000 (safety), placing it amongst the top companies of its sector.

In the last three years of certification, Fimap has reached important improvement goals regarding the optimisation of the internal and external organisation, and the adoption of preventive actions for workers' health and safety. This means that Fimap has distinguished itself by both the good management of the company system and its contribution and constant commitment to improvement.

In Fimap, quality, the environment and safety are guaranteed by the respective certifications successfully attained:

ISO 9001:2000
ISO 9001:2000 refers to an organisational model based on a process guide using quality management principles - essential for good company direction.
The complete adoption of these principles serves to improve organisational performance.

ISO 14001:2004
ISO 14001:2004, is the official recognition guaranteeing that the environmental impact of the business is being kept under control, with an ongoing commitment to reduce that impact.

OHSAS 18001:2007
OHSAS 18001:2007, highlights the active commitment to the protection of workers' health, via specific procedures, investments and continuous training.

In addition, Fimap products are designed according to ROHS directive 2002/95/EC, which imposes restrictions on the use of particular dangerous substances.
All its products are electromagnetically compatible in compliance with directive EN 62233 on electromagnetic field emissions of machines at frequencies which interact with the human body, and directives EN 61000 on the immunity of machines from electromagnetic fields in residential environments and on emission levels required in the workplace.

In some ways Fimap is rowing against the global market, choosing to keep many of its processes internal as it is firmly convinced that its real wealth lies in its own know-how and production capacity to continuously improve the quality of its products.
